David Holcomb
I started coming up to our little slice of paradise in 1969 and purchased our cabin in 1999. This year marks our 25th summer along the lakes and belonging to the association. I served on the association board from 2002 to 2006 and as president in 2004.
Our organization was formed in 1971 to fight against the building of a trailer park for overnight and seasonal camping between the lakes. This went against the spirit of our CC&Rs, and the organization was successful in blocking the park. I firmly believe in the purpose of our association and the value of protecting and enforcing our CC&Rs.
MaryAnne and I are both retired. She retired from teaching at Antelope Valley College and I from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. I look forward to seeing everyone enjoying our “Switzerland of California.”
