President’s Letter 2021
Welcome back, Homeowners!
I hope you and your families are doing well. It has been an extremely difficult year. I feel like we all have been hibernating and coming out of a deep sleep.
This year the Bridgeport Elementary School did not have an opening for the morning time slot, so the Board has decided to have the annual board meeting at Rockey and Ramona’s cabin at 9 am so you can have the rest of the day to yourselves. Yay!
Directions: From Twin Lakes Road, go south on Patterson across the bridge, then take a left on Lakeshore. Go to the end and take a right up Aspen. We are the second house on the right, at the corner of Westwood. There is limited parking.
Please bring your own chair (or you can stand). We will provide coffee, orange juice, water, and individually wrapped Danish. The meeting will not be long.
We will not be having any guest speakers as we really need to concentrate on filling the Board seats, which are
Vice President
• Will have all the powers and perform all the duties of the President in the case of the absence or disability of the President and perform other duties as the President may assign to him
Treasurer (Filled)
David Lawrence has stepped up from his post as Member at Large to fill the Treasurer position, following in the steps of John Hicks. Thank you, David!
Secretary
• Shall keep the minutes of all the proceedings of the members and of the Board
• Shall attend to the giving and serving of all required notices of the meetings of the members and of the Board
• Shall execute with the President, in the name of the Association, all contracts and other obligations and instruments that the Board authorizes to be executed
• Shall keep and have charge of the book of minutes of the meetings of the Board and of the members, the book of Bylaws and Rules, and such other books and papers as the Board may direct
• Shall in general perform all the duties incident to the office of the Secretary subject to the control of the Board
Member at Large
• Shall support the Board
• Shall be the deciding vote among Board Members in the event of a tie
We have a lot of new neighbors. Please spread the word about the Association and invite them to the meeting.
Thank you.
Rockey Reed
