Opening Day of the regular fishing season, aka “Fishmas,” is always the last Saturday in April. This is when most waters in Mono County are open to anglers to fish for as many as five trout to catch-and-keep per day. Please follow all Department of Fish and Wildlife rules and regulations. The regular fishing season always ends on November 15.
