TLPOA: Who We Are
The Twin Lakes Property Owners Association is a nonprofit community organization managed by volunteer home and property owners residing within Twin Lakes Estates. Our mission is to protect the value of our homes, preserve the character of our community, and promote the safety of our forest ecosystem. Our goal is to make our little piece of heaven a better and safer place for our families for generations to come.
WHAT WE DO
Our association has created several committees; they provide members an opportunity to lend a hand and give back to our community. Participation is fun and a great way to meet neighbors.
- Lake cleanup: Members spend a few hours at the end of the summer to remove accumulated litter from the lakeshore.
- Fire Safety Council: Encourages members to create defensible space around homes and property, coordinates roadside chipping days, and supports volunteer home fire safe inspections. In 2024, we were named a National Fire Protection Association Firewise USA community for our efforts. This designation has allowed some members to get a discount on their fire insurance.
- Street signs: Members help install new road signs and reinstall damaged signs.
- Adopt-a-Highway: Members remove accumulated litter from a designated section of Highway 395 near Bridgeport.
- Potluck picnic and raffle: Members help plan and organize our annual event.
- Website: Communication is vital in our remote community. Our website provides important announcements, online documents, event calendars, and interesting photos. Visit our website at tlpoabridgeportca.com.
